We like to visit European Capri Events each year!
CAPRI POST DE - SPEYER GERMANY
Large Biannual Capri Meeting Held at the Technik museum in Speyer. Organised by Gerald, Andrea and Sven Mandl.
This Show attended by Capri owners from 18 European countries was attended by 512 various Capri models in 2019. Four Capri 280 Group cars were in attendance.
We attended the 2022 event also with 3 of the Groups 280s and 332 Capri attending following the Pandemic which made the event in 2021 postpone. Sadly 2024 was cancelled due to illness.

EUROPEAN TOUR JUNE 12/13/14th 2026 NETHERLANDS
The plan for 2026 is to attend this event in Welsum in the Netherlands for our fourth time. Ferry over the Channel then drive on the Autobahn to the event. Looking forward to another International gathering of Capri’s and their owners.
With further Capri events in Germany and the Netherlands we will attend all of these. Netherlands show is 12th to 14th June.
EUROPEAN TOUR NETHERLANDS BRING & BRAAI CAPRI FUN 19/20/21st JUNE 2026
We then move on for 2026 is to attend this event in Warmenhuizen, Holland to join many European Capri owners. 2 Members booked to go so far!
A fun event organised by Hans and Annette Otter. Bring your own food and use the BBQ provided to cook it yourself. Parts Quiz and Capri parking are two of the fun activities.
CAPRI CLUB WUMME EVENT 26/27/28th JUNE 2026
Capri 280 Group will attend the German Clubs first Capri event for this terrific gathering of Capri Cars from all over Europe!
Looking forward to see what this new event will be like.
CAPRI POST DE 21/22/23rd AUGUST 2026
capri280 Group are hopeful this event will go ahead in 2026. Sadly the previous one in 2024 was cancelled due to ill health. This is the largest European Capri event attracting 507 Capri from 17 European countries in 2019! Hotel is booked in hope it goes ahead!
ZUID HOLLAND CAPRI CLUB EVENT 4/5/6th SEPTEMBER 2026
Capri 280 Group will attend the Zuid Holland Capri Club event for this terrific gathering of Capri Cars from all over Europe! Our second visit to this event. Its the Netherlands Club 36th Anniversary year so should be spectacular!

Cor Van Zanten’s Capri 280 appeared in the BBC TV drama Eastenders during 2019. Regular viewers will have seen character Alfie Moon played by Shaun Ritchie trying to sell the 280 to Phil Mitchell on the programme.

The opening episode of series 2 of the Yesterday TV channel popular series was a great boost for our Group!
Not only did the show feature the story of Carl Wilson’s purchase of his 280 at Mathewson’s auctions in Thornton le Dale.
There was also a preview of the 280 with its previous owner and its collection by Derek and a follow up of Carl

As you can imagine this was a very popular show. With many attractions on site it was completely sold out both days!
