Having previously booked ferries and accomodation in advance. Thursday morning after loading all the neccesary essentials off we go to drive 200 miles to Harwich.
First stop the Petrol Station to top up, then down to the Terminal and check in. Once done visit Duty free and wait to board. Once loaded find cabin then restaurant. Have a meal then bed as its an early start.
Early alarm, shower, then to the restaurant for a Full English. Down to car deck drive off through Border control then on through Holland to Belgium. Check in at hotel then on to a welcome at the Capri Drivers show. 3 Days pass quickly then its off to Wuppertal in Germany.
Next stop was Warmenhuizen in the Netherlands. Hans and Annette Otters annual fun event. Different as no concours but a novel model Capri Parking and a Guess the Capri part competition. Bring your own food and cook it. Mick won the Parts Identification competition.
The third event of the Tour was to Weiswampach am See in Luxembourg, a very large gathering of Capri from all over Europe. This event has a unique award ceremony on Saturday evening with award winners driving into the Marquee to be presented their award by an attractive young Lady. Mick came 2nd in Mk III Original condition.
Too soon the Tour was over and Sunday the drive back to the Hook was mainly wet! Through Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands.it stopped as I neared Rotterdam. Check in, join the queue. Once on board find the cabin then the Restaurant. Early night as there is a 200 mile road trip ahead. Total mileage for the tour was 1435 miles!
